Our carrier is designed for 0-24 month-old babies who weigh up to 30 lbs.
You can wear the carrier in three different positions, depending on your baby’s age and size: front inward, front outward, and back inward. Each carrying position can easily accommodate your baby by adjusting the headrest, 3-point harness straps, and zippered side slits.
The waistband can be adjusted for different adult sizes. It comes with an extender to fit a range of waist sizes, from 24 inches through 51 inches.
You can carry your baby in front inward, front outward, and back inward positions.
Our baby carrier is designed for babies 8 lbs and up in the front inward position, as long as their head is supported and there are no obstructions to their breathing freely when worn.
Yes! The Nessl Baby Carrier is designed to support the wearer’s lumbar spine and the upper back with lightweight supportive fabric. It also supports infants’ spines and developing hips.
The carrier is designed to be compatible with car seats that utilize a 5-point harness. The car seat’s shoulder straps must be clearly visible after placing your baby in the carrier and should be not impaired or blocked from attaching to the buckle of the harness.
In most pregnancies you can wear it in the front carrying position during early pregnancy. We would recommend that you ask your physician about lifting and carrying restrictions during your pregnancy.
We make our product in the U.S., using high-quality fabrics in our small batch production. We’re confident our customers will experience and see the value of our product’s sophisticated quality with their investment.

Safety
Yes, our product was designed by a doctor to be the solution for patients who experience pregnancy and postpartum pain. All parents can benefit from its ergonomic design.
Our carrier meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards, has been crash tested, and is acknowledged by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) as "hip healthy."
We designed the Nessl Baby Carrier to meet IHDI’s criteria for healthy hips. In our carrier, a baby’s legs are spread to form a 60-120 degree angle between the thighs, and their hips are between 70-120 degrees of flexion when worn up to six months of age.
Yes. Babies are secured in the carrier’s custom 3-point harness that keeps them safe as you lift them.
The magnetic fastener that attaches the carrier to the waistband is very strong and will not come undone without pulling the tab at the carrier’s bottom. The load capacity is 60 kg/130 lbs.
Materials & Care
Our carrier was created to be both strong and extremely lightweight. This design reduces the pressure and pain points on parents’ bodies and makes the carrier safe to use in a car seat.
We care about the safety of your baby as well as our impact on the environment. The Nessl Baby Carrier’s exterior is water-resistant and made from recycled content in a mechanical stretch performance fabric of polyester and repreve. The interior is a soft micro twill that is gentle to your baby’s skin. We are working to produce a version with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified performance quality fabric.
In efforts to reduce waste, we ship products in a reusable drawstring bag that you can store your carrier in.
Yes! The Nessl Baby Carrier is machine washable so you can wear it without worrying about spitups, spills, and other messes.
